In Thursday's non-league game, the Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) football team edged the visiting Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS), by a tally of 36-35.

In their next game, the Whippets battle the Senatobia Warriors (Senatobia, MS) in a non-league game, on Friday, November 8. Kosciusko will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 8-3 record after their 36-0 league win over North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS).
