Florida High School Football - Northwestern can't hold off Central

October 4, 2024: Miami, FL 33150

The Central Rockets got by the host Northwestern Bulls football team by a score of 24-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rockets play the Stranahan Mighty Dragons (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in a 3A District 15 challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Central will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Mighty Dragons go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 40-21 non-league win over South Plantation (Plantation, FL).

The Bulls (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Key West (Key West, FL). The Conchs go into the 3A District 16 challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Key West nipped Killian (Miami, FL), 42-29, in a non-league challenge.
