The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride (Omaha, NE) and the visiting Gross Catholic Cougars (Omaha, NE), witnessed Roncalli Catholic's football squad edge Gross Catholic by a tally of 23-21.

The Crimson Pride (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland, NE). The Bluejays enter the C1 District 2 contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Ashland-Greenwood got by Boys Town (Boys Town, NE), 23-21, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars battle the Brownell Talbot Raiders (Omaha, NE) in a C1 District 2 contest, on Friday, October 11. Gross Catholic will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.
