In Friday's non-league game, the Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) football team edged the host Riverside Ram (Leesburg, VA), by a tally of 21-14.

In their next game, the Captains battle the John Champe Knights (Aldie, VA) in a Catoctin game, on Thursday, October 10. Loudoun County will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 5-0 record after their 49-21 non-league win over Heritage (Leesburg, VA).

The Ram (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Falcons enter the Potomac game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Briar Woods held off Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD), 28-7, in a non-league game.
