In Friday's non-league match, the The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Fredericksburg Christian Eagles (Fredericksburg, VA), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) in a VISAA Blue Ridge match, on Monday, October 7. The Covenant will attempt to move on its 15-1 season record. The Flames enter the match with a 8-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Highland (Warrenton, VA).

The Eagles (16-2) will now prepare for their match against Oakcrest (McLean, VA). The Chargers enter the Virginia Christian Athletic match with a 1-8 record.
