In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Downers Grove North Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Huntley Red Raiders.

The Trojans (17-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL). The Mighty Macs come into the non-league challenge with a 22-3 record. In their last challenge, Mother McAuley lost by Assumption (Louisville, KY), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Raiders face the Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) in a Fox Valley test, on Tuesday, October 7. Huntley will attempt to advance on its 13-6 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 6-18 record after their 2-0 league win over McHenry (McHenry, IL).
