The Forest Hills Central Rangers volleyball squad (Grand Rapids, MI), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI)

The Mustangs (15-16) will now prepare for their contest against Zeeland East (Zeeland, MI). The Chix enter the non-league contest with a 17-3 record.

In their next game, the Rangers encounter the Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Forest Hills Central will attempt to improve on its 13-14 season record. The Comets go into the test with a 11-10 record after their 3-1 league loss to DeWitt (DeWitt, MI).
