North Carolina High School Football - Hoggard trounces Ashley

In Friday's league match, the host Hoggard Vikings football squad scored a big 38-6 victory over the Ashley Screaming Eagle.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A match, on Friday, October 13. Hoggard will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 40-34 league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC).

The Screaming Eagle (4-3) will now prepare for their match against South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars enter the Mideastern 3A/4A match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, South Brunswick was crushed by Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 40-34, in a league match.
