In Friday's league match, the visiting Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride football squad scored a good 28-6 victory over the Fort Calhoun Pioneers.

In their next game, the Crimson Pride clash with the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE) in a C1 District 1 match, on Friday, October 13. Roncalli Catholic will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Bluejays enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 54-7 league win over Boys Town (Boys Town, NE).

The Pioneers (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Concordia (Omaha, NE). The Mustangs come into the C1 District 1 test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Concordia was dropped by Platteview (Springfield, NE), 54-6, in a league test.
