The Bland County Bears edged the visiting Eastern Montgomery Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bears face the Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 7. Bland County will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 7-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA).
