Missouri High School Soccer - Greenwood nudges New Heights Christian Academy
October 6, 2025: Springfield, MO 65804 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Greenwood Blue Jays (Springfield, MO) and the visiting New Heights Christian Academy Cougars (Joplin, MO), saw Greenwood's soccer squad hold off New Heights Christian Academy by a count of 3-2.
The Blue Jays (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Dixon (Dixon, MO). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Dixon was tipped by Fatima (Westphalia, MO), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Cougars now sport a 2-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pittsburg for a non-league match on Tuesday, October 7. New Heights Christian Academy will meet a Dragons team coming off a 3-3 non-league McDonald County (Anderson, MO). The Dragons record now stands at 7-2.
