The Mount Pleasant Tigers topped the host Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Monday's league game.

Next up, the Tigers face the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a Rocky River 4A/5A game, on Wednesday, October 8. Mount Pleasant will attempt to advance on its 9-12 season record. The Colts go into the game with a 18-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).

The Cougars (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack come into the Rocky River 4A/5A outing with a 15-6 record. In their last outing, Parkwood was topped by Anson (Wadesboro, NC), 3-2, in a league outing.
