Fans at Monday's league contest between the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) and the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), saw West Stanly's volleyball squad notch a victory over Forest Hills by a score of 3-0.

With the win, West Stanly improves its record to 18-3 on the year. The Colts travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to battle the Tigers in a Rocky River 4A/5A contest on Wednesday, October 8. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 9-12. Mount Pleasant won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Central Academy of Technology & Arts (Monroe, NC)

Next, the Yellow Jackets battle the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 4A/5A contest, on Wednesday, October 8. Forest Hills will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Redhawks go into the battle with a 1-20 record after their 3-0 league loss to Anson (Wadesboro, NC).
