October 7, 2024: Selma, IN 47383 The Wapahani Raiders (Selma, IN) volleyball held off the visiting Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN), 3-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 26-3 record. They play next when they host Cowan for a Mid-Eastern bout on Wednesday, October 9. Wapahani will clash with a Blackhawks team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 7-15.
With the loss, Winchester Community drops to 20-9 on the campaign. The Golden falcons host Tri (Straughn, IN) to clash with the Titans in a Tri-Eastern bout on Thursday, October 10. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 6-14. Tri lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Northeastern (Fountain City, IN)

Tonight at Wapahani the atmosphere was electric and full of energy as the Lady Falcons faced the Lady Raiders of Wapahani. In the Varsity Match, the Lady Falcons were defeated in a 5 set match to the Lady Raiders. The scores are as follows: 25-21, 25-18, 17-25, 11-25, 13-15. Was a really really GREAT MATCH. In the JV Match, the Lady Raiders beat the Lady Falcons in 2 with the following scores: 22-25, 19-25.
