In Saturday's non-league contest, the Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) volleyball squad were winner over the host Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Highlanders face the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins (Lizton, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 8. Floyd Central will attempt to better on its 25-6 season record. The Bruins go into the contest with a 16-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Center Grove (Greenwood, IN).
