In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Luther Prep Phoenix volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Pius XI Catholic Popes.

The Phoenix (23-9) will now prepare for their battle against Lodi (Lodi, WI). The Blue Devils come into the Capitol - North battle with a 8-24 record. In their last battle, Lodi was edged by Lake Mills (Lake Mills, WI), 3-1, in a league battle.
