Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE) and the visiting Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE), observed Marian's volleyball team hold off Lincoln Southwest by a count of 3-2.

The Crusaders (22-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pius X (Lincoln, NE). The Thunderbolts enter the non-league contest with a 17-12 record. In their last contest, Pius X tipped Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Silver Hawks now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln High for a A District challenge on Thursday, October 9. Lincoln Southwest will meet a Links team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Grand Island (Grand Island, NE). The Links record now stands at 3-20.
