Indiana High School Volleyball - Mt. Vernon can't get by New Palestine

October 9, 2025: New Palestine, IN 46163

New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, New Palestine improves its record to 26-4 on the season. The Dragons travel to Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN) to face the Hornets in a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 2-26. Beech Grove lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Speedway (Speedway, IN)

The Marauders now own a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brownstown Central for a non-league game on Saturday, October 11. Mt. Vernon will face a Braves squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Salem (Salem, IN). The Braves record now stands at 23-4.
