Franklin County Wildcats (Brookville, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN), 64-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Franklin County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Madison (Madison, IN) to play the Cubs in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 4. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Shiners play the Medora Hornets (Medora, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 4. Rising Sun will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 63-21 non-league loss to New Washington (New Washington, IN).
