The Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) basketball nipped the host Liberty Redhawks (Frisco, TX), 47-42 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Sandies (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Coronado got by Midland (Midland, TX), 74-17, in a non-league test.
