November 7, 2022: Richardson, TX 75080 The Pearce Mustangs basketball team (Richardson, TX), was nudged 52-50 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Independence Knights (Frisco, TX)
The Knights now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newman Smith for a non-league battle on Friday, November 11. Independence will battle a Trojans team coming off a 32-28 non-league win over Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Lebanon Trail edged Lovejoy (Lucas, TX), 59-43, in a non-league battle.
