The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets felled the host Sacred Heart Trojans football team by a score of 31-12 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets play the Opelousas Catholic Vikings (Opelousas, LA) in a 1A District 5 challenge, on Friday, November 8. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will attempt to improve on its 9-0 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 48-6 league win over Berchmans Academy (Grand Coteau, LA).
