The crowd at Friday's league contest between the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) and the host Cosby Titans (Midlothian, VA), witnessed L.C. Bird's football squad knock off Cosby by a tally of 42-27.

The Skyhawks (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Trojans enter the Dominion contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Midlothian was toppled by Huguenot (Richmond, VA), 46-16, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Titans battle the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion contest, on Friday, November 8. Cosby will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Lancers enter the contest with a 6-3 record after their 67-13 league win over Richmond City School of the Arts (Richmond, VA).
