November 10, 2023: Centerville, TX 75833 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Slocum Mustangs (Elkhart, TX) and the host Centerville Tigers (Centerville, TX), saw Slocum's basketball squad overcome Centerville by a tally of 38-25.
With the victory, Slocum improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Lovelady (Lovelady, TX) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 14. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Lovelady won 72-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Alto (Alto, TX)
Next up, the Tigers confront the North Zulch Bulldogs (North Zulch, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 14. Centerville will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
