Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Forney Falcons (Forney, TX), 64-60 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Georgetown upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Akins (Austin, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Akins lost 72-61 in their recent non-league bout against Hays (Buda, TX)
