The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX), 50-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, The Woodlands upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Heights (Houston, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Heights lost 53-51 in their recent non-league bout against Fulshear (Fulshear, TX)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 14. Little Cypress-Mauriceville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
