Texas High School Basketball - Memorial topped by Hays
November 11, 2023: Houston, TX 77024 The Hays Hawks basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Memorial Mustangs to 42 in the Hawks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Hawks now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alamo Heights for a non-league contest on Monday, November 13. Hays will battle a Mules team coming off a 71-18 non-league loss to Boerne (Boerne, TX). The Mules record now stands at 2-1.
Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Clear Lake Falcons (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 14. Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 49-42 non-league win over Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX).
