Georgia High School Flag Football - East Jackson nudges Morgan County
November 11, 2024: Commerce, GA 30529 The crowd at Monday's league contest between the East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) and the visiting Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA), witnessed East Jackson's flag football squad edge Morgan County by a count of 25-18.
The Eagles (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Purple Hurricanes enter the D2 Area 8 contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Monroe Area was nudged by Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA), 21-14, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA) in a D2 Area 8 contest, on Tuesday, November 19. Morgan County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Jaguars enter the contest with a 5-8 record after their 20-12 non-league loss to Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA).
