In Tuesday's non-league test, the Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX) basketball squad got by the visiting Fort Bend Kempner Cougars (Sugar Land, TX), by a score of 45-43.

Next, the Lions encounter the Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, November 14. Alief Taylor will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 49-37 non-league loss to Conroe (Conroe, TX).
