Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL), 44-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Freeport upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pretzels travel to East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 15. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-0. East Dubuque won 59-34 in their recent non-league bout against Warren (Warren, IL)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 14. Morrison will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
