The Discovery Spartans basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Lakeland Dreadnaughts to 59 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Fe Catholic for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 16. Discovery will battle a Hawks team coming off a 49-4 non-league loss to Lakeland (Lakeland, FL). The Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
