Texas High School Basketball - El Paso tops Austin
November 14, 2023: El Paso, TX 79930 El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX), 41-27 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, El Paso upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Eastlake (El Paso, TX) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 16. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Eastlake lost 42-35 in their recent league bout against El Dorado (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Panthers play the Incarnate Word Shamrocks (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 16. Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Shamrocks come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 60-35 non-league loss to Lee (San Antonio, TX).
