Texas High School Basketball - Liberty nips Big Sandy
November 14, 2023: Liberty, TX 77575 Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats (Dallardsville, TX), 33-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Liberty upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Sterling (Baytown, TX) to play the Rangers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Rangers come into the bout with a record of 2-3.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Hemphill Hornets (Hemphill, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Big Sandy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
