In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Hammond Central Wolves basketball team scored a tight 61-59 triumph over the Valparaiso Vikings.

In their next game, the Wolves meet the East Chicago Central Cardinals (East Chicago, IN) in a Great Lakes match, on Thursday, November 16.
