Texas High School Basketball - Johnson nips Canyon
November 15, 2022: Buda, TX 78610 Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX), 44-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Johnson upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Poth (Poth, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Cougars play the Providence Catholic Provets (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 17. Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Provets go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 69-39 non-league loss to McCollum (San Antonio, TX).
