Texas High School Basketball - Cooper holds off Sands
November 15, 2022: Abilene, TX 79605 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) and the visiting Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX), saw Cooper's basketball squad hold off Sands by a tally of 50-49.
With the victory, Cooper improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Granbury (Granbury, TX) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 21. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Granbury won 43-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Burleson (Burleson, TX)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Nazareth Swifts (Nazareth, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 17. Sands will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
