South Carolina High School Basketball - Orangeburg Christian Academy bested by Sumter Christian
November 15, 2024: Sumter, SC 29150 Sumter Christian Bears (Sumter, SC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Orangeburg Christian Academy Patriots (Orangeburg, SC), 56-36 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sumter Christian advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Bears travel to Carolina Christian Academy (Lancaster, SC) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Monday, November 18. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 2-0. Carolina Christian Academy won 63-22 in their recent non-league match against Emmanuel Christian (Hartsville, SC)
The Patriots now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Community Christian Academy for a South Carolina Christian AA - Coastal B match on Tuesday, December 10.
