Tennessee High School Football - Macon County tops Upperman

November 15, 2024: Baxter, TN 38544

The Macon County Tigers football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Upperman Bees to 15 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now hold a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to White County for a non-league test on Friday, November 22. Macon County will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 28-0 non-league win over Loudon (Loudon, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 10-2.

With the defeat, Upperman drops to 11-1 on the campaign. The Bees host Greeneville (Greeneville, TN) to meet the Greene Devils in a non-league test on Friday, November 22. The Greene Devils come into the test with a record of 10-1. Greeneville won 48-10 in their recent non-league test against Gibbs (Corryton, TN)
