The Morehead Panthers football team (Eden, NC), was crushed 49-0 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC)

With the win, Shelby advances its record to 9-2 on the season. The Golden Lions travel to Maiden (Maiden, NC) to encounter the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, November 22. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Maiden won 28-23 in their recent non-league bout against Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC)
