North Carolina High School Football - Northern Guilford holds off West Cabarrus

The Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) football tipped the visiting West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC), 21-20 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Nighthawks now sport a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marvin Ridge for a non-league outing on Friday, November 22. Northern Guilford will clash with a Mavericks squad coming off a 24-10 non-league win over Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-6.

With the defeat, West Cabarrus drops to 5-6 on the campaign.
