In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Medina Valley Panthers basketball team scored a big 57-34 triumph over the Veterans Memorial Patriots.

The Panthers (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX). The Indians/Squaws go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Jourdanton was trounced by United (Laredo, TX), 78-63, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 15. Veterans Memorial will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record.
