November 17, 2022: Pearsall, TX 78061 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Pearsall Mavericks (Pearsall, TX) and the visiting Cigarroa Toros (Laredo, TX), saw Pearsall's basketball squad hold off Cigarroa by a tally of 63-62.
With the victory, Pearsall improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Crystal City (Crystal City, TX) to confront the Javelinas in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 18. The Javelinas come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Crystal City won 78-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Saint Mary's Hall (San Antonio, TX)
Next up, the Toros confront the John F. Kennedy Rockets (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 18. Cigarroa will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 72-43 non-league win over South San Antonio West (San Antonio, TX).
