Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA), 75-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Miller School of Albemarle upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mavericks host Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Peninsula Catholic lost 86-44 in their recent non-league bout against Rock Creek Christian Academy White (Upper Marlboro, MD)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Rock Creek Christian Academy White Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 18.
