Virginia High School Basketball - New Covenant overwhelms Lynchburg HomeSchool

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) and the visiting Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots (Lynchburg, VA), saw New Covenant's basketball squad wallop Lynchburg HomeSchool by a tally of 76-39.

With the victory, New Covenant improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Gryphons host Regents (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Patriots play the Timberlake Christian Tornadoes (Forest, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 28. Lynchburg HomeSchool will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 58-32 non-league loss to Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA).
