November 17, 2023: Alvord, TX 76225 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Whitney Wildcats (Whitney, TX) and the host Alvord Bulldogs (Alvord, TX), saw Whitney's basketball squad hold off Alvord by a tally of 46-40.
With the victory, Whitney improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Meridian (Meridian, TX) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 20. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Meridian lost 34-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Henrietta Bearcats (Henrietta, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 20. Alvord will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 51-46 non-league loss to Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX).
