Texas High School Basketball - Northwest can't hold off Aubrey
November 17, 2023: Justin, TX 76247 The Aubrey Chaparrals basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Northwest Texans to 48 in the Chaparrals non-league victory on Friday.
The Chaparrals now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wakeland for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Aubrey will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 65-39 non-league loss to Bell (Hurst, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-3.
The Texans (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sherman (Sherman, TX). The Bearcats come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Sherman was nudged by Bell (Hurst, TX), 53-18, in a non-league contest.
