Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Switzerland County Pacers (Vevay, IN) and the host Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN), saw Switzerland County's basketball squad hold off Rising Sun by a tally of 40-38.

With the victory, Switzerland County improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Pacers travel to Edinburgh (Edinburgh, IN) to confront the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 18. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Edinburgh won 47-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Crothersville (Crothersville, IN)

Next up, the Shiners confront the Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 18. Rising Sun will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Mohawks come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 57-41 league win over Hauser (Hope, IN).
