Texas High School Basketball - SA Roosevelt can't hold off Seguin

The Seguin Matadors basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the host SA Roosevelt Rough Riders to 30 in the Matadors non-league victory on Friday.

The Matadors now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlingen for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 19. Seguin will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 59-47 non-league win over Somerset (Somerset, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-3.

The Rough Riders (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX). The Mules come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Alamo Heights edged Saint Mary's Hall (San Antonio, TX), 62-42, in a non-league contest.
