Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX) and the visiting San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), saw Cedar Creek's basketball squad hold off San Marcos by a tally of 63-59.

With the victory, Cedar Creek improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Akins (Austin, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 21. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Rattlers play the Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 20. San Marcos will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 66-54 non-league win over Del Valle (Del Valle, TX).
