California High School Basketball - Highland can't hold off Whittier
November 18, 2023: Palmdale, CA 93551 The Whittier Cardinals basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Highland Bulldogs to 52 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rancho Verde for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 25. Whittier will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 53-29 non-league win over Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA). The Trailblazers enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Sierra Canyon nudged Rancho Christian (Temecula, CA), 79-50, in a non-league contest.
